Pug Health Guarantee Agreement

A License Veterinarian must examine all puppies within 48 hours of receiving the puppy. If the puppy is purchased on a holiday or on the weekend, then the puppy must be taken to a licensed veterinarian on the following working day for examination. If your regular veterinarian is not available, you are required to take the puppy to another veterinarian or this guarantee will be null and void.
In case of shipping The Breeder will have the puppy veterinarian checked before shipping, and the veterinarian will issue a health certificate stating that the puppy has been inspected and found free from visible signs of infection, contagious or communicable disease. This certificate will be buyers responsibility and will be included in the shipping charges. The Breeder will also include a current list of all vaccinations the puppy has received to date. Please do not take the puppy into public places unless absolutely necessary, until the puppy has had all its vaccinations (as recommended by your veterinarian) to insure immunity against disease. Please note that minor symptoms, such as runny nose or diarrhea, may be brought on by stress and change of food and/or water. The puppy is guaranteed (to be replaced by the breeder when a like animal is available) for one year from the date of birth, against genetic defects. This does not include certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, such as allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange and other autoimmune disorders are not covered by this guarantee. Any physical problem, which is or could be the result of injury, is not covered under this guarantee. A veterinarian’s report must be supplied to the breeder for this guarantee to be honored and will be void unless these terms are met. If the puppy develops a genetic defect within the 1-year limited guarantee and is returned to the breeder, all return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. The breeder will however pay shipping charges on a replacement puppy back to the purchaser. All veterinarian charges incurred by the purchaser are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and will under no circumstances be paid by the breeder. Although our puppies are bred to AKC breed standards, and most have excellent conformation, we make no Guarantees of “show quality”. Our main concern is to raise beautiful, healthy companions. When a deposit is placed on a puppy, we remove that puppy from all advertising. For this reason all deposits are non-refundable. Take great care to protect your puppy from getting lost, stolen, or from danger or abuse. There is no Guarantee against negligence. This guarantee applies to the original puppy and purchaser, and is not transferable to a second party. The Breeder will not be responsible for any vet bills. We run a responsible breeding program and follow up reports on our puppies are essential. Please feel free to contact us at any time.
